This is our journey.
2013
Company was founded by May who suffered from various skin allergies and struggled to find trusted natural ingredient based products. Most products found on the market are labelled natural but have multiple chemical based ingredients.

TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS
The year of 2014 embodied many trials and tribulations with lots of tears and frustration due to lack of capital. May had so many ideas she wanted to bring to the world but with limited resources it was hard to move forward.

OPEN MARKETS
In 2015, MLaveau started going to open markets in the city of Brighton, United Kingdom. From here on out we started gaining some popularity which was a breaking point for us due to the feedback we were getting from our customers that suffered with skin problems.
Back then, our most popular product was our soaps. We had amazing feedback from people that used our soaps. A lot of our customers who had severe skin problems expressed how our soaps helped soothe their skin whilst leaving it moisturised.
Shortly after receiving the feedback for our soaps, we created Baby B Balm, now referred to as 'Origins Balm'. Origins Balm was originally created for babies but due to its popularity amongst other audiences, we decided to market it to everyone looking for a natural balm. The balm gained a lot of popularity due to its versatile use.

LONDON EXPANSION
In 2016, whilst on a flight to Tenerife, May met a gentleman who was suffering with severe arthritis and magnesium deficiency. At the time, May had a Baby Balm (Origins Balm) she handed him to try as it has anti-inflammatory properties which may help reduce his pain a little. Happy with the relief he felt over the course of the flight, the gentleman wanted to buy a pot of cream and suggested May to check out the Old Truman Market in London.
MLaveau would shortly expand into London by trading in the Old Truman Market.
2017
DRAWING BOARD
In 2017, May started re-thinking the packaging and the re-development of the soaps. Throughout 2017 to 2018, there was a lot of research involved in perfecting the products to make sure they are produced to the highest standards possible.
The business was re-incorporated as MLaveau Cuban Origins.

GOING DIGITAL
Between 2018 to 2019 we decided to explore the online market in order to make our products more readily available to the masses.
By shifting our business online we have consciously reduced the amount of travelling we've had to do, cutting down on emissions whilst increasing awareness of the power of natural products.
2020
OUR VISION
Our vision is that our products will speak for itself. We are genuine, our products are genuine, and our products are made with nothing more than what you see on the labels. We want our future generations to carry on this family ran business because it is something that's been passed down to us and we would like to carry on passing it down for generations to come.
The continuity of the legacy.
Our main priority is customer experience. We don't compromise quality for quantity. We take skincare very seriously because we suffer ourselves.
