Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with candles and candleholders.
Burn out of reach of children and pets.

Extinguish candles with a candle snuffer. Do not blow them out. Never use water to extinguish a candle.

Ensure candles are burned away from flammable items.

Candles should be burned away from other sources of heat such as television sets and away from direct sunlight.

Candles should be burned in an area free from draughts.

Trim wick to 1cm / ½ inch before lighting or relighting. If the candle smokes, extinguish and trim the wick.

Remove all packaging and labels before use.

Use a suitable non-flammable holder.

Ensure candles are burned in an upright position.

To avoid damage to surfaces, always place candles and candle holders on a surface that will not be damaged by heat like ceramic tiles or plates. Table mats are NOT suitable.

Do not move candles when lit or the wax is still liquid.

Novelty candles are designed to be decorative. Burn on a large holder as irregularly shaped novelty candles may drip and can cause damages and burns.



Orders are dispatched within 1 working day from London, United Kingdom via Royal Mail (tracked) unless special or express delivery is selected. We offer same day dispatch for orders placed before 12pm. During busy periods, it may take longer to process orders. Please note that UK deliveries may be affected over bank holidays.

Economy International Delivery Service: Please let us know if your package doesn’t arrive within 21 days of placing your order. If your package does not arrive within this time frame, we will then investigate and advise you on the next steps.


1. We will process all orders within 24-48 hours. Where there is a delay in the supply of goods, we will advise you as soon as practicable. If the goods cannot be delivered within 30 days of your order, we will notify you of this delay and you may either cancel your order or agree a further delivery time with us.

2. Orders will be sent to the delivery address that you have submitted at checkout. We cannot be held responsible if that delivery address is incorrect.

3. We will deliver the goods following the delivery option selected by you during the order process. Any delivery time scales quoted to you are indicative only. Whilst we use only reputable delivery companies we do not accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party.

4. Please note that we will monitor every country's delivery service and should there be a problem in that country, we will inform the customer with some extra postal options.

If for any reason you have changed your mind, we will not provide a refund. Under exceptional circumstances we may re-consider providing you present satisfactory proof of purchase. The product must also qualify with the following criteria’s:

  • Must be in a saleable condition;
  • Unused with all original packaging;
  • Returned to us with any gift or promotional/additional items received where applicable;
  • Exchange or refund requested within 14 days of purchase.

  • If there is a major failure with an item purchased, you may choose a refund or exchange. Should the failure be minor, we will replace the relevant item.
  • MLAVEAU will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a solution under our customer guarantee protection.


  • Refunds will be given using your original payment method
  • If the order was not delivered successfully due to incorrect address or because it was unclaimed, MLAVEAU has the right to charge for the product to be re-shipped.


  • Where item is purchased with a gift, promotion or with a bonus additional item, they must be returned. If you are unable to return the gift, promotional or additional items, the value of any available refund will be reduced by the value of the gift, promotion or additional item.


  • If items purchased are on sale they will not be refunded.
